Last week I posted a transformation picture discussing the importance of diet when it comes to aesthetics and weight loss, stressing the fact that you have to take control of your nutrition to see the results from time spent at the gym. Several people reached out to me expressing that they struggle with nutrition, so I thought I would share a tip each day this week, to help you get your diet on point.
FIX YOUR NUTRITION TIP #1 ️⃣: Fuel your body in a way that feels good, not just when you’re eating the food, but after too. If you have trouble stopping yourself from over-indulging, or eating foods that you know don’t agree with you, force yourself to notice how you feel after you’ve eaten them. When I first learned that certain foods triggered my body to respond with asthma, even though I knew I couldn’t breathe when I ate them, I still did. To stop myself from doing this, I forced myself to notice how terrible I felt after eating the food, and realize that it was my own decision that caused me to feel this way. When I was tempted by these foods, I made myself think back to how I felt after eating them and used those feelings to make my food choices.
