Sleep is an essential part of our overall health. 💤🌙 A good sleep can improve our mood, energy, physical and mental performance and immune function – yet many of us struggle to get a good night’s rest. Since today is #WorldSleepDay , we thought we would share some tips on how to sleep well, not just tonight but every night. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📵 Turn off your screens: Both daylight and the blue light from screens suppress melatonin, which is our body’s natural sleep aid. If you do need to use technology or screens before going to bed, try a pair of blue light filter glasses to block out the blue light. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📚 Establish a bedtime routine: Whether it's reading your favourite book, journaling or drinking a herbal tea – find something that helps unwind you from the day and relax before going to bed.
😴 Sleep+ Time Release: Made with the effective combination of passionflower and time-release melatonin, Sleep+ Time Release targets the two main reasons why we don’t sleep well: difficulty falling asleep, and difficulty staying asleep. One capsule before bedtime will provide a deeper more restful sleep, reduce the time it takes to fall asleep and the number of awakenings during sleep.
👀Wear an eye mask: If you haven't tried an eye mask, you're missing out! Eye masks help to block out unwanted light and distractions that might result in making it harder to get to sleep or staying asleep throughout the night.
