Four years ago I had this realisation. I was 22 years young, fat, unhealthy, anxious and unhappy. I was walking around with nothing to be excited about. Then I decided to make a change. Now, I've been lifting weights, seriously and consistently, for three years. Three years of heavy squatting, deadlifting, bench pressing und rowing. And it has been an incredible experience. What I love the most is the discipline you'll learn throughout your journey. All your potential strength and hard work won't pay off if you aren't willing to work your ass of. Discipline is the key to obtain mental toughness, physical improvement, as well as emotional wellbeing. Conquer your weaker self with every set you're doing and the feeling of accomplishment afterwards is overwhelming. As the months ticked by, I started noticing another important thing: how to make the right sacrifices to reach your goals. Before you start with your #workout , there are always more desirable things to do. You'd rather lay on the couch and watch TV, or stay in bed the whole morning. It's in our nature to avoid doing what we believe we aren't good at. But I dare you to do exactly that. Do the things you think you can't do! When I go to the #gym I try to challenge myself every time. I force myself to work on my weaknesses and put on more weights or do the #exercise I hate the most. 5-ish hour 'turn' sharing the driving back from the family trip to the Central Coast, had two cans of Monster (low carb) already so can't afford any stim-based preworkout, just had some protein, creatine and cream. Thinking about going out later, but we'll see how the body tolerates an early workout first !

That was fun, went to gym with Sally then decided to do my first Parkrun in ages Goal was 25 minutes so started mid pack where it was packed as Southsea parkrun was cancelled so loads of tourists turned up, but I didn't mind this, it made a nice change running in a crowd First km was perfect, very relaxed, 5m5s for km, second got me on track at 4m55s, but then the crowds reduced and I just continued focusing on whoever was in front, reeling them in and then overtaking Pace picked up every km and ended last km 4m15s, still relaxed and enjoying every step Hopefully can amend my plan for similar next weekend 💖👍

🌟I N T H E Z O N E 🌟 - The best way to grow, develop & get that sense of achievement is doing something that somehow takes you out that zone you’re so used to! Regularly do something that challenges you a little, however big or small & I can assure you when you’ve done it, you’ll feel so much more satisfied than before! 👊 - I used to get major anxiety issues when presenting things at school & uni, I would worry for weeks before & practice it a million times - purely due to standing up in front of a crowd of people, all 👀’s on me was just a nightmare.😳 I never imagined that I would have the confidence to instruct group classes! But teaching for me is different & fully immersing myself into sessions has given me the confidence to overcome this fear. ⚡️ There’s no better feeling than seeing clients in classes give absolutely everything they’ve got to the music & motivation thats being received! 🚴‍♀️⚡️💦💥 #keepitcore

Lil’ arm and shoulder progress courtesy of a higher-protein diet + more focus on upper body development 🙌 Never in a million years did I ever think I’d want to see growth in my arms! I always thought skinner arms = better arms. Picking up some weights and adopting a better attitude towards food has done your girl some gooood. Gotta lot of progress to be made, but I think in order to keep motivated, you gotta look back every once in a while and appreciate how far you’ve come.

Я не использую спортивное питание. Не тренируюсь по журнальным схемам. Долой навязанные схемы тренировок и искусственного порошкового питания. Даже фастфуд даст больший результат и при этом бесплатно. При правильных тренировках, конечно же. I do not use sports nutrition. I do not train in the journal circuit. Down with imposed training schemes and artificial powder nutrition. Even fast food will give a better result and at the same time it's free. With proper training, of course.
