Who likes adzuki beans? . Since I've been at work there has been no time to food shop, so I dug around the house to see what I had to make a simple dessert and of course what do I kind? Adzuki beans, agar agar leaf and God forsaken amounts of coconut sugar (managed to get it on offer for 10p per 500g pack in poundstretchers) so with these three ingredients I made these little red bean puddings that can be eaten hot or cold 😊 . I blended quite a bit of the beans but mixed some whole ones too to give it a bit more of a chew 😋 it's a bit like eating jelly but a more thicker and stronger chew to it. . It's a nice little change from the sweet and heavy desserts we normally eat, so why not give it a try if you spot it in the Chinese supermarkets 😁 . For now... Here is my home gym.. my Peloton bike! Usually riding with @jesskingnyc or @emmalovewell .. but on days when I’m not so motivated, I watch a little Netflix on my IPad while I ride. The point is getting active and being healthy, no matter how you’re feeling that day! The best excercise is the excercise you enjoy doing consistently. Get out there! 👍🏻

Motivation talk!! 🧐🧠👀. . One question I always get is “how do you stay so motivated?” I usually don’t really know how to answer this question because I’ve just always had a drive and passion for challenging myself in any way possible BUT I have learned a few things about motivation on my journey. A few tips i came across that I LOVE and use DAILY. . The work of top creatives isn’t dependent upon motivation or inspiration, but rather it follows a consistent pattern and routine. Here are some examples of how you can apply ritual and routine to get motivated: . * Exercise more consistently: Use the same warm up routine in the gym. * Become more creative: Follow a creative ritual before you start writing or painting or singing. * Start each day stress-free: Create a five-minute morning meditation ritual. * Sleep better: Follow a “power down” routine before bed.

On July 16th, 2018 I committed to completing 365 consecutive days of yoga. Today I met that commitment to myself. I need to speak with you ✌👋 I need to know how we should move this brand forward, and I'd like to ask you, would you prefer to see us as a faceless brand? Example: "we", "our new designs", etc. Or would you prefer to hear from me personally more often? I see alot of faceless vegan "brands" popping up and cant help but to question authenticity at times of this rise in veganism. I am vegan. I will be till the day my heart stops. Ive dealt with crazy health problems as a meat eater and a vegan. I will never eat a birds menstruation "for my health". I will never eat fish because of a totally curable condition. 2500m swim at the beautiful Kitsilano outdoor pool 🏊🏼‍♂️ 137.5 m long pool, allowing to properly practice sighting without having to jump in the ocean 😉 I’ve learned today that my tiredness from the stress in my life is making my eyes tired (having a hard time focusing on object) which in return makes me more tired because my eyes are working so hard to focus. I also learned that 1/5 to 1/4 of our blood flow goes to our eyes making it understandable that my eyesight is making more tired. The saying you are what you eat rings true, especially if you're eating the Standard American Diet. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ A diet high in processed foods containing harmful ingredients will leave you feeling fatigued, stressed, anxious, depressed, and just overall awful! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The gut-brain connection is no joke. OK, so I’m not going to Lie. I am not 100% happy with my body right now. Especially compared to last Summer (swipe). I was getting in Shape (Gym twice a day) Tan, starting to like what I physically saw. However, I was sooooo unhappy! Won’t go into detail. But, just Hurting, Mentally, Emotionally, physically, etc. I was drained. I was never getting sleep, always Fake Smiling. Just simply Not Happy!!! Fast Forward to Now, 1 year later. I may not be Tan like I was, not in shape like I was(bottom belly, doesn’t want to leave me alone lol). But, When I smile, I’m really smiling! I’m really laughing, I’m really loving where I’m at now compared to a year ago or ever if that!! I’m genuinely so grateful that I’m able to smile Majority of the time instead of Crying! So, it may not be a Body Transformation Pic, but it’s definitely a Mental One!! 4 miles - however the heck I felt like it Short mileage that was meant to be run at a kind of slow pace due to heat, but I was having fun so flew through the last mile. Got super winded because I am dumb but whatever. Sometimes you have to act on your freedom. A lot of work anxiety lately. As this weekend comes to a close I ENCOURAGE this week either in the MORNING and or BEFORE going to bed or both 😂 what your grateful for . This is something that me and my kids have started as this past Friday . Today in the morning my son (3)shared he was grateful for his PJ Mask car and tonight it was his yummy dinner . Laila’s responses where she was grateful for her soft bed and her family . As for this girl this morning it included being able to wake up cuddling with my two healthy kids .
