MY VEGAN TRANSFORMATION! 🌱💪 • Same mirror - Double biceps... 😉💪💚 Here is my story: I was raised with a vegetarian diet, but never really cared about my health... After my eyes got opened and I noticed the massive ethical problems of the dairy and egg industry going vegan was the logical step for me... I had no clue whether it is possible to get all the nutrients by plants only, but after researching more and more the arguments for veganism piled up and my doubts disappeared. I was so curious about all the benefits of the vegan lifestyle and my excitement increased by the minute... Even nutrition became one of my main excitements as I saw the amazing potential to improve my life by simple lifestyle changes. I think my friends already got annoyed as I loved to talk about nothing else than veganism and nutrition... 😅 So it happened that I decided to start to work on my body, in order to show my environment there is no problem with building muscles on a plant based diet and we also get PROTEIN without torturing and killing innocent beings. (I think every vegan knows that sentence: But where do get your protein?? 🙄😂) 90% of my workouts happened in my own room, as I mainly used my own body weight and only occasionally added an resistance band... In fact I never saw a gym from inside! 😜💯 Although I'm still on my road and know I have many things to improve I can tell everyone: There is no secret! Anytime I show someone a progress picture, they quickly follow it up with: “what’s the time difference here???” “How long did that take you??” “How much did you weigh??” And it always takes away the excitement that I have for it. To me, the time elapsed between pictures DOESNT MEAN SHIT. The amount of pounds isn’t what’s important. When I lay down at night, I can breathe. I couldn’t say that for the girl on the left. I have more energy and last weekend I went freakin kayaking!! Something I never would have been able to do when I was in the body on the left. After so many years of wanting vain results fast, I’m at a place where the time doesn’t matter. I am focusing on things like sleep, energy, getting my period back, doing all the activities I want to do. Also! I used to have my lovely double boobs where my roll on my rib cage was so big I could never wear a top like this without it rolling up. An absolute staple ft the birthday table cloth from my Paw's night 🔥 . Red lentil pasta, soy mince (Tesco meat free mince), spinach, peas, sauce, chilli and some tumeric+black pepper for da blood health 🌶 . A v easy and bangin way to get your micronutrients as well ad your macros plus add flavour and feel fuller for longer is to fire loadd of veggies in to your meals, especially the likes of pasta. It'll bulk the meal up without adding loads more calories (if you count yours). It's a really easy meal to bulk cook too so you have a dpare portion or 2 in the fridge 💃 . I usually have loads more veg but I have nating in the hoose until I bother my arse to go shopping 🌚

Beuk er een paar homemade havermout repen in en je kunt weer door 🌱🚀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Havermout repen 🍪 ***** 150 g havermout 50 g notenmix 50 g pompoenpitten 6 dadels 30 g pure chocolade (80%) 10 g lijnzaad 10 g hennepzaad 4 el agave siroop 4 el kokosolie 2 el pure pindakaas **** Instructies 📃 Verwarm de agave siroop, kokosolie en pindakaas in een steelpannetje. Vermaal de noten, chocolade en dadels in kleine stukken. Mix met de havermout, zaden en pitten door elkaar. Voeg het mengsel uit het steelpannetje erbij, meng tot een geheel en schep het op bakpapier. Maak een rechthoek van 2 cm hoog, vouw het bakpapier dicht en druk stevig aan. Bijvoorbeeld met een pan of een boek. Zet het voor minimaal een uur in de vriezer. More Asian-inspired Vegan Bowls! Maple-glazed Baked Tofu, Kimchi Rice, and Vegetables! Ingredients: 14 oz high-protein tofu, drained and cut in cubes 2 tbsp tamari 1 tbsp maple syrup 2 cups frozen vegetables 2 tbsp Yondu vegetable essence (or vegetable stock) 8 oz Vegan Kimchi 2 cups cooked white rice 1 tsp tamari Garlic powder Steps: 1. In a bowl, whisk tamari and maple syrup. Marinade tofu for at least 20 mins. 2. Arrange marinated tofu in a single layer on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 mins in a 450 F oven. 3. In a skillet, sauté frozen vegetables and Yondu. No need for oil. Set aside when vegetables are softened. 4. In the same skillet, heat a tsp of coconut oil. Fry rice until softened. 5. Add kimchi, tamari, and garlic powder. Taste and season with salt as needed. 6. Serve rice with tofu and vegetables. My post workout meal today is tostadas. What can I say, I love beans. They are a great source of iron, protien, potassium, b-6, and magnesium. Going vegan has never been easier than it is today. Plant based meats are a bit pricey atm, but that will change with the shift in supply and demand for it.
