Have you ever heard horrendous stories about a country or a religion? You know, when people generalise an entire population, an entire country and an entire religion because of the acts of few miscreants? Sometimes, they can go to the extent of hating something or someone without even having first-hand experience themselves? And the worst part is, they share that false information embellished with their own fears and assumptions, with the rest of the world. And nothing is worse than half-information. .
In my lifetime, I have heard many comments about different countries, cultures, religion, etc from people who have not seen any of these up close. Why? Cos they fear - not the other entity but they fear facing themselves and being proven wrong. .
This is exactly what I want to change. I want to break these chains of fear people have of different countries, through travel, and bring mankind a bit closer. I want to bring firsthand information to my viewers about every country that I visit and build confidence in them to explore the world, fearlessly. Because this world is yours, and geographical borders are man-made. They don’t exist. “See, and then believe. Experience, and then share” - a motto that I live by. .
On this note, I launched my 7th episode on my web series “Stories From the World” on my YouTube Channel where I discuss “7 Things You Didn’t Know About Bahrain 🇧🇭”. Yes, Bahrain it is. A hidden pearl (and not a gem, watch the video to know why) in the Middle- East, an untouched, unexplored, destination with the most laid back vibes, and one of my favourite countries in the world for solo travel. Watch my video now to learn more about this beautiful country and trash all the rubbish you’ve heard about the safety of people in this country (Link in Bio) or copy paste https://youtu.be/HpXI6KOZ89I in your browser. .
Keep traveling, keep learning, and keep rocking, even if it’s solo ;)
