🔀I'm a big fan of the rope jumping!♥️ For me it's a fun way to burn calories, time really flies while doing it, as I'm always trying to push myself further in every round. ⏩Also, it’s great for all fitness and ability levels. It fits in with all training goals – whether it be fat loss, endurance, strength, or performance.
▶️Here are some of its benefits:⤵️ .
1. 🔥Boosted fat burning: Jumping rope can raise your heart rate two to three times faster than other exercises, and since lots of muscles are being used at the same time, it provides benefits of a full-body workout in less than 15 minutes. Anyone who has swung a rope for more than 20" knows that it's a great way to raise your heart rate and burn calories.
2. ✨Decreases Foot and Ankle Injuries: While improves your foot coordination, it also increases your strength in the muscles surrounding your ankle joint and in your foot, decreasing the chance of injury to those areas.
3. 🤓Improves mental sharpness: I guess you weren't expecting this one! Think about what happens when you’re jumping rope 🔀 You’re combining timing and rhythm and you’re constantly having to make quick calculations to ensure your brain is recognizing the rope’s distance, speed, direction, and position relative to your body to ensure the rotations keep going. It requires your body and mind to make neural muscular adjustments to imbalances created from continuous jumping. As a result, it improves dynamic balance and coordination, reflexes, bone density and muscular endurance.
4. 🤣The fun factor: Ooh yes! jumping rope is a fun way to achieve your fitness goals. It’s fun to work on new skills, like double unders and cross-overs (which I still can not do 🤣). In order to be consistent with something, you have to actually enjoy doing it. You have to have some fun with it. Once you try out a few of jump rope workouts, you get to play around with different jump rope exercises, combinations, and training styles – it’s where you get to have a bit of fun! .
⚡So, try it!!♥️ #challenge #yourself #every #day
