Are you nonbinary and tired of people trying to describe your appearance in terms of masculine and feminine when the whole point of being nonbinary is that you're not part of the binary? Try these instead! Obviously, if you're comfortable with masc and femme keep using those, but here are alternatives for those who aren't.
Some things to remember: these are not just synonyms for masc, androgynous, and femme. For example, skirts are feminine, but can be stag fox or swan. These are meant primarily for use by nonbinary people since binary people already have their binary terms. These are fairly new and up for interpretation so feel free to play with them however you want, but please refrain from adding more terms onto the whole system to keep it simple and intuitive. (if you want your own animal for your own presentation, that's your own business, but if you're explaining the system to someone, please keep it to these three)
Disclaimer: We are only here to present this system. If you want to debate its validity, take it up with Mod Sorrel on xir main @sorrelsorrelsorrelsorrel Xe will debate you xirself or point you to someone else who can. Attempts to debate in the comments will be deleted.
