Tagaytay has been my go-to destination when I needed to de-stress. Today, I've traveled here not to de-stress but to meet a client for a blog collaboration. The meeting went smoothly as planned. And, I can't wait to share it with you all.
I've also learned something new today: the difference of being a social media influencer and a social media entrepreneur. According to my client, who specializes on social media marketing, a social media influencer is someone who has established credibility to a specific industry and has an access to a large audience. Take note: an access to a large audience. Most of them are not here to make money but to lend their voice to a certain cause.
Social media entrepreneur, on the other hand, makes money through their tweets, Instagram and Facebook posts. They're rendering their services in exchange of money. You don't need a large audience or a huge following to become a social media entrepreneur. Engagement matters.
By the way, I was chosen for the project over a blogger who has a huge following. So, yes, engagement matters. 👋
