| from Rolling Cascades Farm Black Lime Reserve has been delightful to grow this year. If you like GG4 you will love this cultivar. All the gassy and frosty characteristics of the GG family along with tight bud formation and beautiful colors upon harvest. | | ITEM 9 | | #blacklimereserve #terroircannabis #oregongrown #ITEM9 #terps from #rollingcascadesfarm #oregon #terroir #familyownedfarm πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎπŸ‘¨β€πŸŒΎ #knowyourgrower #grownwithlove πŸ’š #pacificnorthwest #pnw #permaculture #livingsoil #nativesoil #allnatural #ecofarm #environmentallyresponsible #trulysustainable #sustainablefarming #sungrown

| from Rolling Cascades Farm We are so pleased with this @humboldtseeds cultivar by way of @essence.farm.1 We have nearly 50 different phenos out here and they are all worthy; selecting a mother to take forward will be difficult in all the right ways. To everyone who has played a role in our farm’s development, no matter how big or small, we thank you. | from Rolling Cascades Farm Enjoy this blistering hot day my friends. With temps over 104, I think I’ll just work indoors and watch the ladies stare at the sun 🌳🌞. Our all natural sungrown garden has already seen temperature fluctuations of over 60 degrees Fahrenheit and they love it! | from Rolling Cascades Farm Integrated Pest Management has been the term of the week here on the farm. We planted hundreds of flowers and herbs throughout the garden and rescued a few more baby birds. The birds are actually a big part of our IPM strategy out here as they manage our beetle, caterpillar, and slug populations. Big thanks to @fryfamilyfarm , @siskiyouseeds , and mother nature. πŸ£πŸ¦…πŸžπŸπŸ•·πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‚πŸœπŸŒΈ | | ITEM 9 | | #item9 from #rollingcascadesfarm #ipm #integratedpestmanagement #terroircannabis #prettybird #autobonsociety #birdwatching

| from Rolling Cascades Farm This is it, my favorite time of the year. When Foraging, Fly Fishing, and Farming all compete for my attention. | from Rolling Cascades Farm #Terroir β€”The complete natural environment in which a particular wine is produced, including factors such as soil, topography, and climate. . Earth Worm Eating Last Years late season stalk. #weplantdifferently This is our Seed Breeding Terroir. Top dressing and blending the nutrients and compost into this amazing terroir. Native Soil Planting! How do we plant in Native #livingsoil #Terroir ? #westackdifferently @emeraldtriangleheirloomseeds - Time to dump those " dumb smart pots"... Growing in Native Terroir- It's All In the Root Size! 2000 gallon Terroir Holes outperform every other outdoor growing technique... So many reasons we prefer to use a skid steer with an auger over and no kind of tilling, first off the auger is 24" to 36" wide and 4' long, imagine digging a four foot hole of this width! Enormous work! But the skid steer and auger allows us to keep the soil layers intact, bottom soil on the bottom, and top soil on the top, it also allows us to concentrate compost with microbes in the top 2 feet of soil, where plants need a heavier amount of nitrogen in veg growth and place phosphorus and compost in the bottom 2 feet of soil where plants need it when they begin to flower. We never till or weed our terroir, we just loosen with an auger, add organic compost and organic locally sourced nutrients from our animal pens and local farms. Keeping the local mycelium and #microlife intact. The #mycelium and microlife literally take over the loosened soil and do all the rest of the work, the microbes go crazy for these holes covered with 18" of straw and leaf mold which conserve water and literally use 1/2 as much water as the plants have a much larger root zone than normally possible. #notill #farming #cannabisfarming #terroir #nativeterroir #naturalfarming #ganjafarmer #norcal #california #humboldt #sonoma #mendocino #sierranevada #livingsoil #livingsoilmatrix #livingsoilsymposium #permaculture #weeds #marijuanagrowing #terroircannabis #biointensive #koreannaturalfarming #masanobufukuoka #cannabisfarming #beyondorganic #cannabiscommunity
