I used to avoid all the places that reminded me of my ex. Now, I’m eager to go back & create new memories at every single one. Why? I don’t regret my past, and I have a lot of excitement for my future!
The last time I was on the Vegas strip, I was celebrating with my girlfriends at my bachelorette party. (Anyone else?)👯♀️
A lot has changed for me since then: marriage, divorce, traveling, dating, moving, and then, a new relationship.
Fast forward to five years later, you can say I got lucky in Vegas.🤩
I celebrated 36 with my boyfriend, seeing our favorite cumbia band in concert, dancing under the stars, our feet in the sand at the Mandalay Bay. It was his first trip to Vegas (it’s far from Italy!), & it was my first time seeing it all with a fresh perspective.
I fondly shared stories of my past, while we simultaneously created new memories together.
Why did I share this with him? Because my past is part of what has shaped me into who I am today.
And it’s the same for you too.
Just because a relationship ends, it doesn’t mean the years you shared were wasted.
You can still move on without erasing the past.
Part of the healing process is accepting & acknowledging everything you’ve been through, including the good!
Sure, you may have wished you left sooner or knew how it was going to turn out, but consider how much you gained from your time together & everything you’ve learned about yourself since then.
If you haven’t gotten there yet, I promise it’s possible.
I only have two spots available for new clients right now. Send me a message if you’re ready to learn how to accept your past & create a new beautiful future!
