And out of nowhere, a new squat PR, 150kg for one rep. It was just another friday night, squat day, and after my warm-up I tried 120kg and it moved smoothly, then I tried 130kg and it also moved smoothly. Then I let my ego speak louder and went for the 150kg. It's a mixed feeling because on one side it's a new PR, on the other it was a big YOLO. But f* it, it's a PR. Get better today. Były plany, cele, marzenia. Niestety zycie potrafi szybko je pozmieniać. Po złamaniu ręki w grudniu i 8 tygodniach gipsu aktualnie przechodzę rehabilitacje. Realny czas jaki potrzebuję by ręka wróciła do pełnej sprawności to około 6 miesięcy. Juz dziś wiem ze jestem rok w plecy... co przekłada się na około 10kg progresu. Wrócę głodny, zmotywowany i zdeterminowany by jeszcze na zawody w grudniu powrórzyć wynik z zawodów z przed złamania, a w 2020 nadrabiać to co stracone. Joints have a passive (and active) support structure to keep it stable. Ligaments are a primary piece of the passive support system. The dark line on the left side of the picture, for example, is a huge ligament on the front of the spine called the anterior longitudinal ligament • People are quick to point out that even lots of people without low back pain have disc herniations, etc (which is true) and use that as evidence that disc injuries don’t matter • One reason we shouldn’t tend towards extremes or over simplify complex issues into “discs do or don’t matter” is that both sides are right • Often people with back pain have disc issues AND the disc is not their problem. However, when a disc has become injured, it is also true it has a hard time with fluid dynamics to maintain its internal pressure. So that, it can become dehydrated and lose height • While it may not be their pain generator, it can still be significant to their problem. When the disc dehydrates, like if they were to stand for a prolonged period, the disc height will shorten. What that means practically is there will be less pushing apart of the adjacent vertebrae and, therefore less tension on the passive support of the joint (ligaments), causing an increased “wobble,” or a less inherently stable segment • So, while it’s not the end of the world and may not be their pain, the fact that someone has a disc herniation may be causing less local stability, increased loading of facet joints, irritating the local ligaments or nerves, inhibiting local muscles, etc and an increased reliance on the active support system (muscles) • “Back pain” can be complicated because many things down there can be causing pain, so when we try to distill it down to one thing, we may be partially right, but still have trouble managing, because it’s many small things. And just because an injection, acupuncture, cupping or anything else might help person A, it may not help person B. Even though they hurt in the same place, it’s probably for different reasons...so following advice from someone, even a person that theoretically knows what he is taking about, that doesn’t assess what’s happening for YOU, should be avoided

💥Pull Day pt.1💥Today I wanted to keep the Volume high so I did 4 sets of 10-12 Reps on everything. I ensured I could feel my back working in every rep. 🔥I started to notice that when Im working with a lighter load for more reps it becomes challenging to stay focused on the contraction of the exact muscle being targeted. Thats has become the NEW Challenge for me, to stay focused on the muscles the entire set.

This day marked one of my most hardest training sessions ever. I woke up feeling great and ready to smash it but my body was saying and feeling the complete opposite. I almost was at a point where I wanted to give up and I was frustrated because most of all this was the same weight I lifted last week however this moved a lot quicker. I started to doubt myself and get angry at myself and to much coach who didn’t deserve my moodiness. I pushed through this event most of all because my brother @eruerasam was yelling and motivating me to push through.
