(EN) Future of the 🌎, lives of ours, our kids and next generations, we hold it in our hands OURSELVES by our decisions and acts. This year's flea market is about the only home of ours, the planet Earth. To this event, we brought some handmade decorations or jewelry, but most importantly, no more used toys for smaller or even elder children. 90% of toys are made of plastic, in some cases even toxic or carcinogenic. Unbelievable 80% of toys end up in a landfill, oftentime never used, not to mention enormous pollution and destruction of the nature or animal extinctioning. So why to support this big consumption? Everyone has more than enough toys hidden in a wardrobe for sure. So why not to donate or sell it? Why to buy them in such an amount at all? Does everything have to be new at all costs? It's all about us, our preferences and consciousness. We all want ONLY the best for our kids, and most importantly-health. But do we ever think about the health around us? There's so much plastic in the world, that it's being burnt very often, so "thanks" to that we breath in micro plastics. In average, we consume one credit card of plastic each week, because plastic is being released into food or water packed in this material. In 99%, plastic causes climate changes, or more specifically, heats the planet, melts icebergs, which increases the probability of flooding some states. Theres so many "plastic islands" in the ocean, the most well-known about a size of 3 European states, in which there's over 5 TRILLIONS of pieces of plastic. Due to this, in a few years, if we want to swim in the ocean, we'll have to have some special suits on because of the contaminated water. Is it really worth it? Plastic toys (as well as other things) can be replaced by alternative of high life cycle and quality material. Let quality take over quantity. Don't forget, that the planet does NOT need us for living, but we do, so let's start taking care of it the way it deserves.
