A beautiful Macrolepiota procera (Parasol mushroom; Parasol) in the middle of the forest. ⠀ ::⠀ They are easy to identify and in September, October we find them in many places in the Black Forest - mostly on meadows and sometimes in light woodlands. ⠀ ::⠀ But what's most tempting about these mushrooms is their intense and so so delicious smell and taste. Most of the time we eat the hat fresh - fried or breaded, with egg for breakfast, as a mushroom sauce,... - and dry the stalk to grind it as a a tasty powder to spice up other food.
