So, I'm going to be vulnerable for a moment here and show myself in a way that I don't let many people see...this is me on a blah day: messy hair, still in pjs, no glitz or glam or crazy outfits/planed sets...
I have a Cerebral Palsy, a chronic physical disability that has various effects from person to person; I was born with it...it doesn't go away but it's not "degenerative" either. On a daily basis i deal with spasticity/spasms, tightness, stiffness, and a few other symptoms that could go on for a while lol. Today I actually gave in and dug out my hand brace because I couldn't move my hand well at all without pain and looking like I was in MJ's thriller MV(🤣🙃)
Anyway, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and make this post not for sympathy, attention, etc...but to help break the barrier between able bodied and disabled people especially on Social Media. After seeing fellow Instagrammers @wheelchair_rapunzel and @pastelspoons have posts taken down for "violating guidelines" with their disabilities multiple times I was so infuriated that I decided it's time for me to join the fight and speak out about my disability(s) as well. I may not be a very big account but if I can make a difference then I would be happy with that 🖤♿🖤
