This hike had it all. We set out in freezing falling snow around -15C. (check my stories for some footage from earlier in the day). As the morning grew on the day cleared to gorgeous hiking conditions. The final ascent had me staying really close to a mate who was a little light headed dealing with the final 200m of elevation to the peak. What is the highest you have ever been? And did you feel the elevation?
On a recent roadtrip the Mrs encouraged me to leave the little one with her for 30hours and take on a hike we both did five years earlier. I wasn’t feeling 100% but I’m so glad I pushed through. Hiking up to this 4000m lake wasn’t to tough but getting no sleep the whole night due to the altitude wasn’t the best. But it did mean I was up at the crack of dawn for what was white out conditions that opened up shortly after to reveals some stunning views. Hope you like it friends. #thehikingphotographer
