Does the scales hold you hostage?
If it doesn't show you progress, do you feel down, upset, frustrated?
Why is that, why does a number dicate how you feel, especially if you have seen progress elsewhere?
By all means be pissed off it you haven't got the result you wanted but by the same token didn't do the work, if you weren't consistent
BUT, if you feel better, look better, other measurements are down, you feel you've made progress despite what the number on the sclaes says then put that middle finger up at your scales
Say "Fuck you scales, you don't own me, I know I've made progress"
There are many reasons your body fluctuates in its weight, time of the month, hydration status, salt intake, glycogen storage, all legit reasons your fat mass could be DOWN, but weight UP
So be logical, don't be emotional, work out if it is a lack of effort to to the cause, or just your weight being up with progress seen elsewhere
p.s. I haven't weighed myself in years, I just go by how I look and feel, I know when I've put on weight, I can tell in a heartbeat, I trust myself and act accordingly
