Thanks to everyone who are inquiring about what happened to the 2nd #sankofaretreat in February. Sadly , a few days before our retreat political turmoil took over country . For both safety and spiritual reasons - The team and I had to postpone. Not only for the political turmoil to calm down , but to wait for another permission from Spirit to go do the healing as energies roaming have a lot to do with the process . As your healer - I will always make sure that you are safe in all aspects . Ayibobo!

Awoche Nago !!!! Let’s talk Ogou today . There is a whole tribe of Ogous . Growing up I only knew about one Ogou - Ogou Feray . But there are many Ogous : Ogou Chango , Ogou Balandjo,St Jak Majeur , Ogou Ashade , Ogou Batala and more ... they all share the same principles of power - power to create and to destroy , the aspect of war and protection . They are part of the Nago family - originating from Nigeria .They each have their nuances which should be respected. Let me tell you a little story about Ogou Balendjo that happened exactly a month ago at the #sankofaretreat - one of the participants had a lot of negative energy latching on to her and a LOT of Healing was necessary . The darkness was revealed and it was time to take it out ... I called on to Minokan- then suddenly, everyone felt the presence . I saw / felt Ogou Balendjo come down on his horse to come heal this woman , before I could say it , before anyone said anything everyone was acting accordingly- everyone made room for him to come and heal this woman- not a word was said about his arrival , yet everyone backed up for Ogou Balendjo to come heal this woman . He then came to me to direct me on how to proceed, and was instructing the other participants to sing . The energy was so potent that the day after - it was a big topic of conversation although there was no one who discussed it while it was happening . We even mentioned the sudden smell of horse manure that invaded us as soon as we felt his presence . This story also leads me to this - NO spirits do not only manifest during a Vodou ceremony!!!! The Loas are always present and if you truly have your connection with them ALL you need is that connection . I love having my Asson - but I’ve always been able to reach to my lwas and have them come in many many many different forms . Vodou and connection does not start with initiation it is in you - it is YOU ! At the retreat that I host , the whole perimeters is surrounded by Lwas and Gads- they are aware of this gathering and guide me through this gathering for MONTHS ! Haiti, thank you! 🙏🙏🙏 Special thank you to @desertdrop for the truly incredible experience. Hard to put into words the gratitude. I was not sure why I was drawn to go to Haiti, but now I do. The purpose and work to do with the native american communities is so loud and filled with full support of the ancestors. The people of Haiti warm and open your heart with just a smile.
