Wieczorne pobieganie. Przerwa w treningach dała się we znaki, forma jest tragiczna. Zaczynam od początku ją szlifować. Szkoda, bo było już całkiem nieźle. Ale co nas nie zabije, to nas wzmocni. ■ DOSSARD: TRAIL DES MEUH DU LYONNAIS ■ 🦁 . Un nom de course qui risque de faire rire les @lesgenouxdanslegif 😂 c'est cadeau! 🎁 . Voilà petite course nature en solitaire de samedi dernier 👌. Des paysages superbes même si la haute montagne commence à me manquer. . Départ sous une pluie battante 🌧... terrain très très boueux ce qui a rendu la course plus ludique, j'adore !!!! 👍 . Ainsi se sont clôturés mes 5 jours de défi avec moi-même et avec cette grande communauté virtuelle qu'est Instagram 😂. Résultats: 100km et 3100D+ 🏃🏼‍♀️📈📈 . On voit que quand les situations climatiques sont difficiles il n'y a pas grand monde sur les courses et seuls les plus compétitifs enfilent un dossard, et oui même sur des courses que l'on ne peut pas vraiment qualifiés trail ni de technique... du coup je pensais avoir pas trop mal couru mais encore raté 😂 le peu de concurrence etait trop rude: - Scratch: 85/106 - Féminine: 9/20 - SEF: 4/8 . I woke up this morning and my body just didn’t want to run... or so I thought. It wasn’t my body that didn’t want to run, I was actually just being lazy. I was telling myself I wasn’t recovered from my weekend workouts, when in fact I was. . It’s important to listen to both your body and your mind. To know when to relax and restore and when to push it. Today, in my dad’s famous words, I needed to suck it up, get out the door and RUN. . I couldn’t be happier! I crushed my tempo run and got a serious dose of Vitamin D. . Personal best achieved! Not even close to what I was hoping for, I was on pace for sub 42 but blew up just after 5k in the noon heat. Managed a strong finish though. My legs were pretty sore from leg day yesterday and the noon heat was powerful but excuses aside I’ll be aiming for a sub 40 by the year’s end. Party on Wayne and run Forrest run!!

What way do you sit at your desk? • What way do you sit during your daily commute? • What way do you sit when watching TV? • Many people spend hours hunched over computers, laptops and phones, which is ruining their postures! • Try this simple drill to help you! Doing this exercise alone won’t counteract the hours of damage done. But if you notice that you are slouching more than you should be, try this drill throughout the day (think about doing it first thing in the morning or perhaps when watching TV in the evening) to help you realign yourself and to stop slouching. The resistance band does not need to be heavy, the aim for you is to increase awareness of your upper body position. Throughout your day pay attention to you posture - are you slouching? Then re-adjust yourself and think of the pulling motion to pull those shoulders back and improve your posture. • Here’s how to do it! • Grab yourself a light resistance band Sit in a seated position with your legs straight in front of you Place the centre band at the arch of your foot Sit up straight and hold each end of the band in your hand Pull the resistance band back towards your belly button, keeping your arms glued to your sides As you pull backwards squeeze those shoulder blades together and pause Slowly release and repeat • Try it and let me know if it increases your postural awareness! #notanotherbubblebutt
