Happy Monday!!! • Those who know me, know I have always been a morning person ☀️ Up at 4am wide awake and ready to go! Most people believe this to be a negative thing, but I honestly love it 💕 I get so much more out of my day! . . Recently I have been trying to implement a new morning routine. I grab my water - so important to rehydrate as soon as you wake up 💦 & my journal and I write down the following: . . ✍️ My weekly planning & goals ✍️ My daily plan & goals . ✍️ Visualisations, gratitude & affirmations . . I have always been a planner, this has never been an area I struggle with. But since starting my own businesses I have had to ramp this up a notch. Thus making a concious effort to sit down and plan everyday has become more important than ever. . . This year for me is also about healing both physically (from an illness) and mentally. I know I am not always kind to myself. So taking the time to give myself kindness and be thankful has become such an important daily practice for me. . . #resistancebands #stretching My routine after legs #pictures and #description With each stretch you want to grab the band towards the middle of your shin. -Pic 1: Push out points toes forward and slowly come back under control (stretches calves and tibialis anterior along with #hamstrings ) 10xs then lean forward towards your toes and hold for 20 secs (repeat both #movements twice) -Pic 2: lay back keep tension on band and push foot towards ceiling. Being under control as knee come back towards chest 10xs follow this with pic 3 -Pic 3: bring leg towards your head while “trying” to keep both legs straight hold #position for 20sec (Repeat both 2 & 3) -Pic 4: keep sounder in ground and bring leg to the side. Same directions as pic 2 but now push out at a 45 degree angle. 10xs follow this with pic 5 Pic 5: bring leg straight out and up towards you shoulders. Keeping both shoulders on the ground. Hold for 20 sec (Repeat both 4, 5) Pic 6: bring leg across body l. Once again you will keep tension as you push out at a 45 degree angle 10xs. Having control as the knee come back towards body. (Tip try to keep other leg toe up unlike in the pic) Pic 7: bring leg up to shoulders keeping shoulders down. And hold for 20 sec. 🕑Finding the right time to workout 🏋️‍♀️ ~~ Who else struggles with finding a good time to hit the gym?🙋‍♀️ Here are some of the reasons why I personally struggle!! 1️⃣In the morning, I want to wake up and don’t want to workout right away. But my mind is telling me “Get it done.” But it’s just so early 😩 2️⃣Mid day it gets so busy at the gym! People there on their lunch break and I get typically busy during the afternoon! 3️⃣Before dinner/before work: it’s hitting night time and I’m just too tired 💤 I don’t want to get all sweaty before work!! (I typically work nights so that’s why it is a struggle for me.) 4️⃣After work feels too late! I’ll be exhausted from the day and not wanting to do it!😩 ~~ Does anyone else have those thoughts? Or as the day goes by, you keep pushing it off... keep saying I’ll go soon, I’ll go in an hour... then it hits 10pm and then you just give up 🙅‍♀️ Never a fun situation. 😡☹️ ~~ My best advice is to get into a routine. My lifestyle with work make it so I don’t have a daily/weekly routine. I work different days and different hours every week but I have found what works best for me. With A LOT of trial and error. 🚫❌ ~~ If you work early mornings, I suggest you aim to get it done either before you go to work/earlier in the morning. Even if it might sacrifice some sleep! Or right after work!💪 This will help you get everything done all at once for your day. You are already out of the house after work/going to work so why not squeeze in a quick workout!☀️ ~~ If you work nights definitely take the morning or afternoon to do it! This is because when you get off work at 9pm-11pm most likely you will feel way too drained for the gym! 🛏 If you find a time in the day you enjoy going then keep doing it! It will make life so much easier and you will get a routine which will lead to consistency 😁 ~~ As for if you want to avoid busy hours, aim to go more towards 10am-12pm, 2-4pm, 8-10pm👌 I tend to find its more dead during those days of the week! ~~ As long as you are happy and enjoying your workouts then you are doing it right 😁💕

Pausa⏸ Ho deciso di sospendere l'uso dei campioncini di crema viso per mettere in uso l'ultima full size a non buon inci che possiedo. Si tratta della crema viso di Avene cleanance mat, che avevo utilizzato in passato e poi avevo riacquistato, lasciandola chiusa fino ad adesso. GUTE-NACHT-GEDANKEN .. 🌙 nachdem der kleine Mann heute den Mittagsschlaf ausgelassen hat, und nun seit 18 Uhr schläft, denke ich an die kommende Woche. . . In der Regel strukturiere ich immer am Abend den nächsten Tag und plane was erledigt werden muss, was wir gemeinsam tolles unternehmen und was ich koche - da der Mann aber ab Dienstag für eine Woche weg ist, möchte ich diese Woche für uns zwei Zuhause auch irgendwie besonders gestalten. In the past couple years the only time I’ve weighed myself is when I’m at the doctor...for me, it’s more about how my clothes fit and how I feel (honestly, since having kids the latter is way more important). I haven’t been able to comfortably wear this top for ages. It has absolutely no give. And I kinda forgot about that when I pulled it out of the drawer...but I tried it anyways and it fit. 💃🏼 If I stood on a scale I’m sure the number hasn’t changed that much since my doctors appointment in January, but I can tell you I feel different. Getting healthier isn’t always about a number, it’s about how you feel, learning about your body and everything you put on and in your body. The pure30 program opened me eyes and allows me to live an 80/20 life. But, I know there are times when it’s more like 50/50 😆and I’ve learned how to get back on the bandwagon. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to take time to learn about YOUR body. You don’t need to feel like crap everyday, you can feel your best and live your best. Quando ti rendi conto che una cosa ti fa bene, ma poi la pigrizia ti fa vedere tutto difficile... questo è stato il periodo che ho vissuto ultimamente. Non capivo cosa fosse, finquando non ho ripreso le mie piccole routine yogiche e il Golden milk é una di queste. Sono giorni che pensavo di dover fare la pasta di curcuma per potermi preparare questa bevanda al mattino. 130 g di acqua, 40 g di curcuma in polvere, un pizzico di pepe ed eccola pronta in qualche minuto girando e rigirando a fuoco basso (ricetta di @giallozafferano ). Il Golden Milk appunto latte d'oro è la bevanda ayurvrdica che Yogi Bhajan consiglia a tutti per il benessere psicofisico. E' ricca di antiossidanti, aiuta a lenire dolori articolari e muscolari, depura il fegato, favorisce la digestione, abbassa il colesterolo, sgonfia la pancia e calma i dolori. Perché magari analizzando bene le ho anche io…” Lo scriveva una Flybaby qualche anno fa nel nostro gruppo. Iniziamo a spiegare di che si tratta, dicendo che le "vocine negative” possono essere le nostre, quelle dei nostri coinquilini. Voci disfattiste, che ci dicono che stiamo perdendo tempo, che non servirà a nulla, che il caos regnerà per sempre sovrano nelle nostre case, che questo non è pulire, che ci toccherà fare maratone di pulizie per tutta la vita, che le altre sono più brave e vanno avanti e noi invece ci perdiamo dietro dei semplici step (maledette scarpe!), che il marito non ci aiuterà mai, che i figli ci remano contro. Forza, continuiamo. Quali sono queste altre voci negative che ci escono di bocca? Sì, perché le prime a boicottarci siamo noi con il pensiero di quello che faranno/diranno gli altri. Noi che non crediamo in noi stesse perché già altre volte, armate delle migliori intenzioni, abbiamo fallito. “Le voci che senti in testa ti dicono che sei indietro e che devi fare tutto e subito. Andremo a spegnere queste voci negative che ti stanno consumando costantemente e le rimpiazzeremo con parole amorevoli e dolci che ti diranno che non sei indietro e puoi fare tutto un BabyStep alla volta! … Il tuo primissimo BabyStep è stato quello di far brillare il tuo lavello. Non ascoltare quelle voci che ti dicono che questo non ti aiuterà a sistemare la tua casa incasinata. Cose del tipo “non sarò mai in grado di fare questo o quello, non meriti una casa felice, pulita e invitante”. Prendi un foglio di carta e scrivi ciò che senti. Not gonna lie. The last thing I wanted to do this morning was a work out. I was laying in bed, and my mind was trying to trick me into staying there for a few more hours LOL. - - But for this science experiment to continue the videos have to be daily to show the constant progress to #myself . - - These videos every day have been the ticket to my success at continuing these videos every single day. They are like my accountability mirror. I start thinking about not doing a work out and I get the most guilty feelings ever and I just have to do it. - - Before I would just let that go thinking that my mind was trying to take care of me. But I know now that it’s trying to fuck me in every way that it can to get me back to the comfort zone. But my comfort zone before is literally my un-comfort zone now.
