Wellness- it’s not a pill, a one time and your done, or a one size fits all. It’s a daily pursuit, one foot in front of the other, slow steady drip. It’s consistency. . Diets rarely ever work because once someone hits a certain marker then they turn back to their old ways, which brings them back to their starting point. It’s the same with your relationship with God- you don’t pray once and just assume your “there”. You can’t tell your husband you love him once and expect everything to be peachy for the rest of your time together. You dont eat a salad one day and expect the pounds to fall off. . True wellness, happiness, relationship or anything worth having is a DAILY pursuit. You have to work for the good stuff! . And somewhere down the line we have to decide what’s more important; coke or not having arthritis, salad or brain fog, balanced hormones or the “fresh apple pie” candle. . Most people don’t start because it seems to be overwhelming. The reality is that there is only a few simple principles to follow- . Turn off the tap- cut out anything that is causing inflammation, flair ups. This is often chemicals, sugar, synthetics, fragrances. . Hydrate- drink your water! Add in Celtic salt, trash the table salt, for minerals so your body can take it in. Don’t drink with meals so you don’t wanted down your digestive acid. Drink between meals. - Good fats, lots of veggies, smaller meat portions. Make sure it’s a good quality. Add in lentils if your body can handle them. - Rest! Reduce stress. Pray. Meditate. Slow down. Get on a budget. - Give and serve. It gives the same chemical reaction as when we receive something. It pays it forward. Brings purpose. Community. - Words. They are so powerful that God himself created the world and everything in it. We have power in our tongue. We invite things in- good or bad- with our words. . Faith- nothing and everything can happen based on our faith. What ever you need- believe it is done, speak it out and thank God for it in advance. Really believe! Speak it out loud that it is done. Then shut off your faith in fear, doubt and unbelief. We want the good stuff to come about. Not the bad.
