👨💼Do you like or read self-help books or articles..etc?
I am not a fan of self-help books (if that is what they are called), and i honestly went in to this expecting it to be..well.. "meh", you know, it was BUZZED!!! so I naturally put it off, then my interest was piqued, and I HAD to see what was it about.
let me point it all out:
🌻 Let me say I Laughed Out Loud, quite literally, especially at the beginning of it. then i never did, not sure if there were no more sass, of if I had enough of it
🌻very fast and a very short read, took me about 4 hours
🌻If one of my friends read this, they would tell you what I am about to uncover now, this felt like I managed to write my thoughts and take on life, my advice, and add sass to it, and get it published
🌻this did not make life all great and did not make it easy, but it made it simple. so less preaching, and more realism (My cup of tea )
🌻Love the anecdotes, made it easier to understand with less explanation and less repetition, hence a shorter more effective book
🌻though I liked most of it, but I hate it when authors include religion and beliefs in their discussion. I will ALWAYS prefer no mention of religion or belief or anything of that matter in books.
🌻 relating to the first point, about 3 or 4 phrases or "jokes" related to belief and all. more degrading, so I am absolutely against that.
🌻 not sure when it happened, or why, as in, is it me because reading these books is not really my thing, or is it the book? but toward the end, I got a tiny bit bored. and I was glad that it was over and that it was short
So, all in all, get ready to be attacked, this book hits you in the face, so if you are someone who gets sensitive over your opinions and thoughts and all, then maybe read it, because you need to change, or maybe don't, because you will feel attacked. I would say this again, the cons I mentioned, is the main reason I will not be recommending it because of that.
