Running my mouth and getting in trouble.
I feel like I'm one of those people who would rather throw things out there on platforms even if doesn't "gain popularity." This month is pride month, and while we have so much to celebrate as LGTBQ and allies, we also have so much work to do to support the fight for equal rights and educate the other side. I am still learning from the community on how to better support them, how to be apart of the community and how to talk to people who don't agree with you and come to the community with hate, bigotry and violence. There is work to be done, but no one should have to fear violence, acceptance, hate, or exclusion for being who they are.
I'm bisexual, if you've made it this far and not scrolled past or unfollowed I'd like to share that my identity and preference don't change who I am as a person. I am also many things, adventurous, a known monolouger in real life, a friend, a daughter, someone who loves to dance, someone who likes the smell after it rains.
People are incredibly complex and I will do my best to honour and support those facing more struggles than I. Be active in your community and your friendships!
