One of my most cherished apps is @first5 offering daily devotionals plans that nurtures the soul + provides real life perspective! The below are parts I gathered from today’s devotional + I hope you absorb it as much as I did! I encourage you (if you don’t already) to have a daily devotional or motivational message to read daily. It assures you’ll have at least 5 minutes to yourself reading truth + opening the opportunity to jot down thoughts, prayers, goals or simply highlight! “Whether it's a weight loss plan promising overnight results or a business opportunity assuring massive profits with little work, we normally consider these "guarantees" too good to be true. Many times our skepticism is wise, as the world has a way of overpromising results and inflating outcomes. God, on the other hand, offers no such false claims. He is true, unchanging and trustworthy. Still, when we experience His blessings in our lives, it's sometimes hard to believe.
Although it may be hard to believe, God's "great things" are not limited to the accounts we read in the Bible. God's promises stand true today also. As we see His restorative power in the lives of His people in Psalm 126, we can believe that the same power is available to us even now through the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8)
What was broken, He can heal. (1 Peter 2:24)
What was lost, He can restore. (Psalm 23:3)
What was bound, He can free. (Galatians 5:1)
What was dead, He can give new life. (Romans 6:4)
God's ability is beyond our thinking, and still, He is able. Unlike the promises from this world, we can trust and believe God because His promises are real and His Word is true.” Bless it, J #bibleverse #biblescripture #faithandfitness #devotional #dailydevotional #proverbs31woman #first5 #jesuscalling #read #limitless #believeinyourself #spiritual #motivation #humpday #positivity #relentless #god #godisgood #graditude #mercy #blessing #wisewords
