Fighter #12 Jigglypuff!
Jigglypuff can jump 5 times in the air and can move faster in the air than on the ground. Use Jigglypuff's great aerial ability to overwhelm your opponent! If you manage to land the down special Rest, you can powerfully launch your opponent. First let’s look at some aesthetic changes to Jigglypuff. Side taunt is now much faster; over twice as fast. Up taunt is also slightly faster. Jigglypuff is slightly more expressive, for example, now smiling when using certain neutral attacks as it did in games prior to SSB4 rather than looking surprised. Jigglypuff has two new victory poses. In one, it jumps twice, spins around, and assumes a pose similar to its render from SSB4. In the other, it runs into the scene, does a backflip, and assumes a pose similar to its official art from Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Now let’s look at how it’s moveset has changed since it’s last appearance. Jab 1 can lock, returning the capability previously in Brawl and Melee. Dash attack has visibly more knockback at low percents, improving its safety on hit. Forward smash deals slightly more damage. All of Jigglypuff's aerials have significantly reduced landing lag. Rollout deals significantly more damage, its rebound animation is much faster, and its overall ending lag has been greatly reduced. When using an uncharged Rollout, Jigglypuff will only roll once, significantly speeding up the animation. This improves its safety. Jigglypuff is able to move in freefall after hitting an opponent with Rollout, bringing back this capability from Brawl. Sing has reduced ending lag. When Rest hits, it is now interruptible as soon as Jigglypuff opens its eyes. On whiff, Rest is still interruptible only slightly later, as Jigglypuff first looks around. Puff Up now has a second, shockwave-like hitbox at the climax of the move. Anyways Jigglypuff has received many buffs and I hope you enjoy playing as your favorite Pokémon in Smash Ultimate! (We’re now in SSB64 in terms of the countdown!!!) 👊🏻
