P for Pokemon Leaf Green
Pokemon Leaf Green is the remake of Pokemon Green for the Nintendo Gameboy!? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pokemon Green was never released in Europe or America, instead we got Pokemon Red & Pokemon Blue.
Alongside the release of Pokemon Leaf Green, which has Venusaur on the cover we also got Pokemon Fire Red which has Charizard on the front cover.
Pokemon Leaf Green & Fire Red has just like the original games, my favourite generation of Pokemon in. When I was at school I was really addicted to the original Pokemon games, and also adored other games like Pokemon Stadium 1&2 and Pokemon Snap.
Pokemon Leaf Green & Fire Red were made shortly after the release of Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire. Due to the age of the original games, you wasn’t able to easily get the original 151 Pokemon in Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire so Pokemon Leaf Green & Fire Red were born. Using a Gameboy link cable you could trade the Pokemon from Leaf Green & Fire Red to Ruby and Sapphire.
The game like the originals, starts off at Pallet Town which is where the long running Pokemon anime began. The difference with this game however is in the original you could only choose a male character but in this one you could pick a female trainer instead if you wanted. The male character once again is still the character known as Red however you can name him to whatever you wish, and the same goes for the female character however her name is Green? I think. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What’s your favourite Pokemon (creature, not game)?
