When was the last time that you did something that made you feel uncomfortable?
Yesterday, I met up with Rachel from @preciseposture at Metronome Coffee! I was so excited because we were going to be talking about some really cool stuff, like how she helps people through her new business and how I could help her with photography!
As I turned on to the street the coffee shop is on, I started to feel butterflies in my stomach because my nerves were starting to set in.
Instead of going down that anxiety spiral, I was able to recognize the feeling for what it was, remind myself that there was nothing to be nervous about and then I chose to fine and the nerves went away. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A few months ago, that would have been a completely different story. I would have started to worry about things like how I looked, what I would say, and if Rachel would even like me.
If I hadn''t taken the time to get to know myself and understand why I react the way I do to certain situations, I know I would have been a nervous wreck during that coffee date.
I know I am not the only one who is afraid they are not good enough, and that is why I find it so important to tell you stories of my struggle like the one above.
Just remember: You are amazing and once you take that step outside of your comfort zone, you will create magic!
P.S. If there is anything I can do to support you while you make your uncomfortable moves, let me know! ⠀⠀
