. . . Chocolate Almond Butter Energy Balls with Raspberry Chia Jam ♥️ Grain-free | No sugar added | Vegan 🌱 . . . By @nm_meiyee . . Recipe Energy balls 1/2 cup almond meal 1/3 cup coconut flour 1 cup pitted dates 1/4 cup almond butter @ceresorganics 2 tbsp coconut oil @ceresorganics 1 tsp vanilla bean extract 1/4 tsp sea salt . . Raspberry chia jam 1/2 cup fresh raspberries 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp chia seeds . 1 cup melted dark chocolate 1-2 tbsp coconut oil . Instructions Make the chia jam Put the raspberries and lemon juice into a saucepan over a medium heat. Mash the raspberries as they begin to heat up. When the raspberries have broken down to a saucy consistency. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool a little before adding the chia seeds. . Spoon a teaspoon the raspberry chia jam and lay them on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer until they’ve firmed up. . Energy balls In a food processor, add dates, almond butter, vanilla, coconut oil, salt and process until a paste is formed. Then add in almond meal, coconut flour. Process until the mixture starts to form a dough. If it doesn't seem to come together, add a teaspoon or two of coconut oil and process again. . Grab mixture, shape it into flat circle, about the size of half of your palm. Place a jam in the middle and roll into a ball. Store balls in the refrigerator to harden. . Add the coconut oil to the melted chocolate and stir well. This will make it a little thinner and easier to manage. Remove energy balls from fridge and, one at a time, dip them into the melted chocolate. Use a fork to remove them and tap away excess chocolate. Seit über 4 Jahren befinde ich mich mittlerweile auf dem Weg der pflanzlichen Vitalkosternährung. Soll heißen: ich bereite meine Speisen immer frisch zu. Das inkludiert auch Basics wie Joghurt, „Vrischkäse“, „Pflanzenmilch“, Gewürzmischungen, Süßungsmittel, Dressings, Bro(h)te, „Rohkolade“, Pancakes, Eis, Brö(h)tchen usw. Das ging auch nicht spurlos an meiner Familie vorbei. Meine Mutti begleitet mich auf meiner Reise und verzichtet mittlerweile ebenfalls auf künstlichen Zucker, Weißmehl und kocht fast ausschließlich vegan. Früher haben wir beide sehr gern Süßes in Form von Gummitierchen, Schokoriegeln, Cookies, Nuss-Nougat-Creme, Gebäckteilchen, Schokoladentafeln oder Pralinen verzehrt (bei ihr war allerdings immer ein natürliches Sättigungsgefühl vorhanden, was ich von mir leider nicht behaupten konnte 😅). Gott sei Dank hat sich das alles grundlegend geändert. Dadurch, dass ich meine Mutti so mitreißen konnte und sie mir extrem dankbar ist, dass ich sie auf diesen großartigen Weg geführt habe, inspiriert und motiviert sie mich immer wieder zu neuen Kreationen, die dann auch mal bei einer spontanen Eingebung mitten in der Nacht entstehen können. So wie diese Brombeer-Granatapfel-Energiebällchen, die sie so geflasht haben, dass ich sie unbedingt teilen soll: ✅ 2 Handvoll Granatapfelkerne ✅ 2 TL Mandelmus ✅ 1 EL Dattelpaste ✅ 2 EL Brombeerpulver ✅ 2 EL Kokosraspeln ✅ 3 EL Hanfsamen ✅ 2 EL Mandeln Solche „Superfoodpulver“ wie in diesem Fall aus Brombeeren stelle ich mir auch immer selbst her. Dafür verwende ich erntereife Früchte oder auch Kräuter, püriere sie ggf. und trockne sie schonend im Dörrgerät bis eine papierähnliche Konsistenz entsteht. Das Ganze schrote ich dann im Blender zu einem feinen Pulver. Natürlich solltet ihr die süße Sünde auch nicht in Massen verzehren, aber durch die vitalstoffreichen Ingredienzen ohne leere Kalorien sättigen die Teilchen und man ist nach 1-2 Stück komplett zufrieden gestellt.

This was when we were in Las Vegas. Utah and other states have them too. It's called PIEOLOGY. They use @daiyafoods cheese. Not sure what sausage brand they use. I'm not a pizza person, but the kids and bae enjoy pizza. I took a bite and yeah....still the same, I don't like pizza. One of the kids wanted extra cheese, we ordered all our pizzas to go, the box lids started sinking in the center because the small box placed on top of the bigger boxes were too heavy that it took a lot of cheese off! My eye ball 👁. I have always spent a considerable amount of time outdoors, with a large portion by or on top of the water. I’ve only just had my eyes tested for the first time 🤭! They’re in tip-top condition. One piece of equipment I never go cheap on is good quality sunglasses, and polarized too, ensuring I protect my eyes as best I can. Good nutrition likely helps too. Don’t neglect your eyes, they’re a valuable asset 😎

I was inspired by Minimalist Baker’s marinated portobello with balsamic vinegar and I decided to made my veg sando with that style of mushroom. I packed my sando with grilled marinated porto, sweet peppers, sweet onions, purple cabbage, shredded carrots, steamed mix greens, and an oil free garlic aioli (Such an oxymoron without oil, but I wanted it to be oil free) on sourdough bread. Just thought I’d share this “recipe”⁣ for anyone wanting to try it! (I put the word ‘recipe’ in quotations because I pretty much guessed at ingredients and amounts, and will try to give you what I think I put into these haha)⁣ ⁣ •1 can of black beans (~400ml can)⁣ •2 flax eggs (2tbsp flax + 4tbsp water)⁣ •1.5 tsp vanilla extract ⁣ •1/4 to 1/3 cup of coconut oil⁣ •3/4 cup cocoa powder⁣ •1/3 cup maple syrup⁣ •1.5 tsp baking powder⁣ •1/4 cup soy milk (or just enough to get the right batter consistency)⁣ (*optional 1-2 tbsp coconut sugar or other sweetener)⁣ ⁣ Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or mixer, pour into a greased baking pan, bake at 350-375°F for 30-40 minutes, and serve warm on some banana nice cream 🍨🤤

Let’s talk about self care and anxiety! Taking CBD has been working for me in the ongoing treatment of general anxiety disorder. I used it a lot in the lead-up to our recent trip to the UK with the kids because I was losing sleep for weeks before we went. I actually tried Ativan before the trip but I really disliked the way it made me feel groggy and unlike myself (the first time I took it I skipped making dinner and fell asleep at 4 in the afternoon on a Saturday!). For me taking CBD is part of the prevention plan; if I’m already in the middle of a full blown panic attack it doesn’t solve all of my problems but if I notice I’m ramping up to one it can often keep things from escalating. • I chose to order the pens rather than the drops because I use it sparingly and as needed and the pens make it super easy to micro-dose. I think drops would be a better choice for someone who is using CBD to treat something like chronic pain because with the drops you can measure how much you’re taking and find a consistent sweet spot for your own treatment. • I use the Revive pen when I need a booster during the day and I have a freelance deadline looming. I use the Sleep pen when my body is ready for bed but I can’t seem to quiet the whirling thoughts in my mind (every night, basically). And I use the Calm pen (my favourite so far!) when my kids are screaming bloody murder and I need to lock myself in the closet for a minute to get some peace. There’s also a Love flavour and a Focus flavour (def could’ve used that in my uni days!) and a Natural product without any essential oils at all. • I love that this brand is super professional and looks really sleek. I love that they use only full spectrum CBD and coconut oil as well as a little essential oils to flavour certain products. I love that the first time I ordered I had like 50 questions and they answered all of the DMs I sent them super thoroughly and super fast. Dr. Bronner’s Sal Suds is one of the most versatile cleaners for automotive detailing. If you are not familiar, then I suggest you check it out! it’s a wonderful cleaner concentrate that can be used for millions of things! For car care it’s the best! These are the things I use Sal Suds for.....lemme see..... well actually you can safely use Sal Suds on every surface of a car😂. Inside and out... dilute at the standard dilution in a spray bottle for interior cleaning, and put a squirt in a bucket of water to clean the exterior of your car. Pretty straight forward... I’ll be posting more about this in the future... this was such a cool picture. I had to post🤙🏼

POPCORN FALAFEL Vegans love falafel... With recipes like this, you can’t blame us! 🤣🤪 If you wanna nail this recipe at home, here’s what you’re gonna need to know: INGREDIENTS: FALAFEL: 2 cans chickpeas (drained) 1 red onion (finely chopped) Juice of 1 lemon 3 cloves garlic 2 tsp Harissa paste 1 tsp Salt1 tsp Cumin ½ tsp Pepper ½ cup Flour ¼ cup Coriander ¼ cup Parsley BATTER: 1 cup Plain flour ½ cup Almond milk CRUST: 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs Vegetable oil (for frying) TO SERVE: Hummus Salad METHOD: 1.Put all the falafel ingredients into a food processor & whizz them up into a thick paste. 2.Take a spoonful of the mixture out of the food processor, roll it up into a ball in the palm put on a plate.
