❓Whether you flag/highlight book quotes or just take mental note while reading, what kinds of passages do you tend to notice? Profound? Romantic? Funny? Tear-worthy? Pretty prose?
Fellow kindle readers know that as you’re reading, you can see which sentences/passages have been highlighted by a lot of readers! I’m always so curious to see which they are. They’re usually life truths or romantic declarations, from my anecdotal observations.
Personally, I tend to flag/highlight quotes that make me laugh... and the occasional truth about humanity that really resonates with me. I love pieces of hope, of striving for better. And sometimes I “save” a passage because of the way it’s crafted, because I want take a moment to recognize a tiny, beautiful thing, and hold on to its magic for a little bit longer.
C.G. Drews’ books are among the books I have the most quotes saved from! I was lucky and had the chance to read TBWSH as an e-ARC, so my highlights are saved in my kindle. I’d love to reread both books this year, so if @hachettebooks could kindly turn both of these into @hachetteaudio books, I would be much obliged! 🙏💙
Thank you @paperfury for sending this beautiful @parvaillust print of Moxie & Sam 😭😭 I love it (and them!) so much!! So excited to add it to my growing #CGDrews collection, alongside the gorgeous @shelfcandyshop pin on the right!
