How are pins made? Did you know that every pin is made by hand? The method of creating enamel pins first starts with creating the mother mold, a block of metal that is used to stamp the pins’ metal parts. These mother molds are what all of your pins are cast from.
After the mold is made and the pin is casted, the casts are filled BY HAND by workers who use magnifying glass and eye droplets to fill each enamel color.
After that, the pins are baked at a super high temperature, and finally plated. The plating gives the pin that shiny appearance to the lines - black nickel, gold, silver, etc.
Did you know pins were handmade? Each one is super special! Love every pin you have 💕💕💕
