Today was cowash day for my little one and her tangles are off the chain!!!! I mean, seriously! So, I was very excited to try this Babies & Kids Daily Moisturizing Detangler by @alaffia from my @georgetownmarket family. If you’ve been following me, you know I’m a huge fan of Alaffia, and at one time was a Brand Ambassador for their company demoing at stores in Indiana. I had to stop using some of their hair care because my hair doesn’t do well with protein 😢, but I was very happy to see that they reformulated their curly hair line💕. I can’t wait to try the other products, but today it’s all about this detangler. Ok, here is my very honest opinion.
1. Smells nice and doesn’t have a strong lemon or lavender scent.
2. Pumps out well and is a great consistency.
3. A little goes a long way
4. Has some slip, but not too much. Please make sure hair is saturated if using on wet hair.
5. Has great ingredients like 💕Baobab, Shea, jojoba, and Argan.
6. Versatile. Can be used on wet and dry hair.
Ok, but did it work tho?? On a scale of 1-10 for detangling my daughter’s 3A-3C & a drop of 4A hair..I give it a 8. I love the ingredients and I love the moisture, but more slip may be needed to help the knots melt away. Will I use it again? ABSOLUTELY because it still cut detangling time in half 🙌🏽However, I will mix aloe, water, and glycerin in a spray bottle to help add more slip while using it. The ingredients can’t be beat and I love that this is a fair trade product, empowering communities in Togo, West Africa 🙏🏽💕. It’s very safe for babies and kids which is also a huge plus, and even though it didn’t melt every tangle away, I would still most definitely recommend it! Look at her hair!!! It’s moisturized, shiny, and smells great! You can get these locally at Georgetown Market 🥰
