234*/365/2019 :: Selfie v5 Experience snowing first time in my life
Halfway to Queenstown, Lindis Pass, South Island, New Zealand
One of the among surprises during the New Zealand trip, it was the snowing while driving through Lindis Pass heading to Queenstown.
Thought the winter season over, didn't expect snowing would be happened during the spring season, probably in the period of transition from Winter to Spring. Being super lucky and this was my first time ever physically touching the snowflakes in my life.
Before entering Lindis Pass, noticeably the snows covered the tip of the mountains (I meant most of the mountains), the scenes were simply irresistible, pulled over at the side and doing some scenery shots (Solely for Instagram) and then moved on.
The further we drove, the drizzles and shows started to fall and slowly getting more heavier. Due to the safety reason, we decided to pull over at the designated car parks and taking its advantage came out from the vehicle and physically feel my first-hand snowflakes experience falling from the sky. Besides I was too excited about the snowing, I also did the video recording at the precious moment and sharing the videos with friends and family.
Wifey also joined the fun and start taking selfies, and there I have the shot. The spontaneous one... It was freezing, as good as 6-degree celcius. Both my palms couldn't hold for even 30 seconds when I was shooting the scene in the middle of the road.
