Had an amazing day shooting with one of the best Chicago photographers. Don, thanks for making this such a kick ass day to remember. I cannot wait to see some of the amazing shots we came up with. I am pretty sure I fell in love with all the shots and different looks we did today. @bersanophotography @ofeliag12 your work is flawless and I felt beautiful all damn day! @carynnicole thank you for guiding me here each step of the way. Down 21.5lbs, lost almost 6 inches in the waist, 4.5 inches in the hips, and the entire process was enjoyable! I had about 12 people join me with the goal of dropping 15 lbs by Halloween, plus an additional 10 lb loss by Thanksgiving. One week ago Monday, we started following the plan I used way back when I was at my healthiest weight, sleeping well and getting 4-6 workouts in a week. Six of the 12 that checked in at the beginning of the week, have already reported weightloss! In one week, we have one down 2 lbs, one down 3 lbs, two down 4 lbs, one down 5 lbs and one down 7 lbs! It's easy to follow, and we are all doing it together. Some exercise, some don't. Some are just learning to eat clean for the first time. RP @oualidzaim for anyone interested in intermittent fasting. I pretty much follow this except my time is 12.30 - 8.30, train a little earlier and split dinner to a smaller meal and small snack 😊 Fasting about 3 months now and still love it. Really helps with the IBS and I have less bloating than usual. Regardless of whether I have a good or bad day in terms of food I always at least stick to the fast. So, my dinner and snacks😂 were a vanilla yogurt and banana smoothie bowl with chocolate granola plus a side of 6-8 squares of Swiss chocolate🤪💘 and 3 or 4 cookies as before. To be honest, I was afraid that would continue to a binge, bit then I went on a walk with my mum and dad instead. I was lucky this time. Breakfast before school was overnight oats with whole milk, heated up in a pan with a little bit of butter. Day 2 of the 3-Day Refresh. 2️⃣ I seriously thought I was going to be SO hungry during this program. 🤤 To my surprise, I have to remind myself that it’s time to eat. 🥘 In fact, about every hour I’m eating something. 🕓 Today’s lunch was a delicious vanilla shake blended with banana, green beans & avocado. 🍌 🥑. ::24 Hour FAST:: I am participating in a 10 days detox that kicks off today. One of the options to kick off a detox is to start off by fasting for 24 hours. This can sound super scary to some people and honestly, I was weary the first time I did a fast for 24 hours and truth? It’s not for everyone. If you have a thyroid imbalance, pregnant or nursing - you should not do a 24 hour fast. How does it work? Last night I ate dinner, today I am consuming water and herbal tea and will break my fast at dinner time. Pretty simple, right? What I love about fasting is: it gives my digestive system a rest, time to reset and do some cellular repair. I always break my fast with something small like some Almonds. During the next 10 days I will continue to intermittent fast and carb cycle as usual, I will continue to consume ALL of my calories during my eating window. There are a few things I will NOT be consuming during my 10 day detox: ➡️Corn ➡️Oranges ➡️Dairy ➡️Gluten ➡️Beef ➡️Pork I am looking forward to including you all in my journey! Doctor: eat breakfast. If you dont you are starving. Me: lol. This is what I "eat" each morning for "breakfast". Fresh green juice, whole lemon in water and tea with a tpsn of coconut oil. Full till the afternoon yet in western diets this is considered "starving". I think these medical degrees need more education on nutrition. Mad props to my chef of a husband!!!! Right as he was almost done, he remembered my carb macros are basically none but he had already made enough rice for both of us for four days worth of meals. Oops. He grabbed Nay, jumped in his truck, and off to the store they went for cauliflower rice. Now that's love! I've gotta say this is the most amazing experience as far as eating style. I'm down 14 pounds, Garrett is down over 20 pounds and we aren't dying and praying for it to be over. Honestly, I can't even tell you what week we are on or how many we have to go. I just know I like it, it works, he has awesome abs, and my arm muscles are showing again. The first 4 weeks of this #nwphotoshootready challenge were AWESOME! I never felt hungry. Then my calories decreased by 250/day in phase 2 and weeks 5 & 6 were great! It hardly phased me at all, I was satisfied most of the day. Now that I’m wrapping up week 7, I’m f’ing #hangry !! I eat, feel satisfied for about 30-60 mins, then my stomach starts growling with hours to go before my next meal. And before you ask, yes, I’m getting in ALL of my water (a gallon a day). Not sure if this is normal in the middle of cutting phase or not. Maybe it’s because my days are longer now due to getting up earlier & going to be late. Maybe it’s because #sharkweek is approaching, who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️. But this is making me REEEALLY nervous entering the last 3 weeks of this challenge. Yeah there’s no way I can consistently do 2,100 calories. That’s too low for me lol. Capping myself at 2,400 calories with a ketogenic ratio of around +70% F/ -30g net C/ 130-150g P. So this month I started focusing on intermittent fasting as my main source of lifestyle toward food. Ive done 16:8 many of times but im working to extend it tp 20/4 and focus on OMAD. After reading eat stop eat and delay dont deny it all clicked. Hoping to fully transition to OMAD by mid month. The last diet you saw me post only last a week and as soon as I was off I regained the weight i supposedly lost.
