I have been having the hardest time with this lately. The kids have been a little difficult lately and I’ve been using it as an excuse not to put the work in on myself. I’ve been eating ok (ish) but I haven’t gotten in a real workout in 2 weeks. Working hard; it’s not about how much money you earn, how fancy your car is or how big your house is. It’s about striving to be the best, hitting goals and then making new ones. It’s being dedicated to your cause and knowing that the pain is short lived but the euphoria lives forever. It’s inspiring others to be amazing and it’s being the best possible version of you that you can be. I’m astounded at how hard working this little lady is. Full days at school, followed by long nights at gym. No weekends off which in turn means no parties or friends over, no sleepovers or after-school play dates. No lazy weekends or lie-ins, she’s constantly training to be better than she was yesterday and she doesn’t complain. This is her choice, her plan, her future. On her very precious day off she’s now honing in on her dancing technique. Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary; one after the other on a Tuesday evening and she’s absolutely loving it. What others see is a little girl relaxing and having fun dancing, what I see is determination to be as good as the best in this new discipline. Lil pre-workout flow comin atcha 🧘🏼‍♀️✨ I love doing yoga as a warmup, cooldown, calm down or as a whole workout. I try to incorporate at least 15 minutes into every day (even if it’s at work) and it’s made a huge difference in how I feel physically and mentally. I cannot recommend it more! Yoga is very accessible, even if you’ve never set foot on a mat you can easily get started and reap the benefits. There are many free resources online if you’re reluctant to start with a class. I highly recommend the Yoga with Adriene YouTube channel! 🌈✨🌸

Sister 2: Esta mañana me he levantado con fuerzas. Hoy sí que sí, pero según iba acercándose el momento lo estaba viendo más complicado. Baños de los peques, cenas,... Son las 21:15 y el pequeño aún despierto. Dejarlo para el miércoles como que no. Así que cojo fuerzas dejo al peque que se duerma solo y empiezo. No puedo más, es más duro de lo que esperaba. Pero a las 22 horas ya terminado. Merece la pena el esfuerzo, me siento genial aunque me duele todo y a ver mañana. Además el pequeño sigue despierto, pero no pasa nada, me pego una ducha rápida y a dormirle. Las súper mamis somos así. First trail run in almost 7 months!! All winter couldn’t get more than 3 kms on the #dreadmill before everything started hurting-shins, calves, sciatic 😫- what a difference today, did double that with no issues. I’m thinking could be the shoes! These were a dream to run in, I don’t have a lot of luck with Saucony, but these were amazing, too bad I’ll only get in a few more runs before they will be too hot. ❇️GYM ANXIETY❇️ It’s real. It happens. I know professionally body builders that still get gym anxiety sometimes. It’s an every day occurrence that happens to almost everyone at least once. What is it? You know that feeling going into a new gym where you don’t know anyone, you’re not familiar with the equipment, and it makes you nervous? Yeah, that’s it. The more comfortable you are, the better the lift. So I’m going to list a few tips I’ve learned and feel free to post any you know of! Wear a hat. This is killer! I found that just pulling a hat down over my eyes allows me to focus more on what I’m doing rather than everything around me. Wear your favorite outfit. Put on a gym outfit that makes you feel FIERCE. Wearing something you feel like makes you you’re a badass will help you feel more comfortable and more confident. Go in with a plan. Having an idea of what you want to do when you get in the gym will allow you to be more time efficient and you’ll feel like you were more productive. If possible, lift with a friend. Having someone with you to push you helps with comfortability. You’ll know someone and automatically be less anxious about where you are. Get lost in music. Put on something you LOVE listening to and just beat out a great workout. Upbeat music will keep you in the zone and you’ll enjoy what you’re doing much more. Those are just a few things I’ve done that has allowed me to lift better and feel more comfortable in what I’m doing. If you’ve found any tips that helped you, feel free to post them in the comments! My hair is fake. So are my eyelashes. And I Botox my forehead... it was either new boobs or cupping and obvi, I chose cupping just so I can check off another LA CHICK BOX🤗 • Jokes and boobs aside, (and you’re welcome that I keep it as real and transparent on social media as I can) this is my THIRD round of cupping over the last few weeks and it has worked WONDERS for me... Over the last 5 months I’ve had extreme discomfort on and off in my neck and shoulders from a combo of unhealed whiplash from a car accident and for sure emotional stress, work stress and constant celebrating someone’s something or other, (or my own!) on top of dating and let’s face it, I give a ton of emotional energy and focus and LURVE to my clients all day errry day. • As I lay on the table today, 8 days into a cleanse mainly focusing on no alcohol or refined sugar (indulging in an apple a day and acai in my smoothies) I was PSYCHED and READY bc TODAY’S CUPPING SESSION WOULDNT BE ABOUT PULLING LAST NIGHT’S (and the night before’s and before that) WINE TOXIN’s🤗. I thought it would be a more relaxing session bc I’ve been realllllly kind to my body this week, (aside from emotionally eating copious amounts of healthy popcorn watching #abductedinplainsight ) • It turned out to be the MOST EXCRUCIATING cupping of the 3 sessions. I almost said “we gotta loosen these!” But then a voice in my head said NO. In the same way your client just moved through discomfort of doing something her inner child didn’t want to bc it felt scary, she did it bc she knew it was for her greater good. • Most of the time, growth and healing is more painful than fun when we want to rehabilitate the hurt in our emotional hearts or physical bodies. I almost skipped going today bc my brain said “this is a hassle. It’s a work day. You don’t have time.” • Not having time for taking care of you is BS. And choosing to stay with your chronic pain emotionally or physically is CARELESS and creates much greater pain down the road. • Embrace your pain. Love it. Lean into it. Say yes to it. And TRANSFORM it. You know the right option, even if it’s the less fun one. I feel like a badass after and my neck is thanking me!

I'm slowly coming back! 🔥🔙 I tested my strength again doing some sets of max pull-ups and dips reps today. I'm quite satisfied for 20 pull-ups and 35 dips max reps, considering I was forced to a long rest of period due to a back injury. 🤕 I hope coming back to train seriously as soon as possible! 🦁 . . . . . . . . . .
