I’ve been practicing family law for 15 years, and have counseled hundreds of people during their most difficult times. Most call me a “family law” attorney, but I’m a self-proclaimed “relationship attorney.” My career has taught me so much about people, relationships, breakups, divorces, baby mama/daddy drama, and pain. What I enjoy the most is asking the “Ws”. What brought about the change in the relationship? What was your responsibility in the breakdown? What could you have done better? What lessons has the pain taught you—pain is often the best teacher! What can you see now that you couldn’t see before? etc. It’s the darkest and fiercest storms that bring about new energy and new life! Sometimes the Creator strips you of all that you thought was good for you and puts you on a new adventure—a new path to love, healing and growth.
You’d be amazed what you learn by just listening. And I’ve been through my own hurts, betrayals, disappointments, and life lessons. There’s often a common thread that leads to the end of a relationship, which mostly consists of the breakdown or lack of trust and communication. I wanted to create a page where I could share my divorce and relationship experience, as well as the life lessons that come with it. You’re welcome to share your feelings, experiences, and questions with each other. Follow me @attorneysema
NOTHING ON THIS IS PAGE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED LEGAL ADVICE.
