Happy Friday Friends!
I hope you all have an amazing day and relaxing weekend.
I just wanted to share this photo I took a couple of days ago trying out a cat eye look I used to do years ago. I’m still loving it. But the main highlight of this post is the next photo (slide left) that I took the same night.
Whenever somebody asks me to recommend good makeup to cover their imperfections or pigmentation; I always remind them the importance of nutritious food and good skin care first.
1. A skincare regimen can help speed up your daily makeup routine. Which is why I’m constantly trying to share my favorite skincare products as brands.
2. It’s the best “Me-time” that’ll benefit you for years to come. As I reach my late 20s, I’m starting to realize just how important it is to show love to your skin. Every night, no matter what time I sleep, I give myself 5 minutes to pamper my skin. In the little 5-10 minutes, I prioritize myself. Not my husband, not my son, only myself. It gives me the ability to loosen up a little, love myself and be stress free.
3. Save yourself money in the long run. Prevention is better than cure. Take care of it while you can because like good eating habits, good self care habits pay off later in life. Once your skin starts to age, the turnover rate slows down and gravity tries to show it’s magic on your face; you’ll have all these years of hard work to thank. Since we don’t have a friend like Kris Jenner to pay for our facelifts. 😜
So Friends, it’s so important to include good skincare along with other good habits.
Do you have a skincare routine? If so, share it with me below!
