“Behold the Three-Formed Goddess; She who is ever Three —Maid, Mother and Crone; Yet is she ever One. For without Spring there can be no Summer, without Summer, no Winter, without Winter, no new Spring.” — A Witches Bible .
Got a little Crone necklace made for myself. 🖤🖤🖤The Crone is the last in the triple goddess triad which is made up of Maiden, Mother and Crone. It doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be an old woman to find yourself a Crone. Some of us go through the other two stages much earlier in life, some skip a stage entirely. For myself, I went straight from being Maiden to Crone. I learned so much about people and myself in my Maiden years and I have never felt connected to Mother and don’t see myself as one. The Crone represents wisdom and to go deeper into topics that Maiden and Mother don’t have time to delve into and that is where I find myself now in my mid 30’s...a life of research, learning, creating, traveling, writing, reflecting and just being, still. .
🦉 I have also been finding a deep connection with Hecate, Goddess of the Crossroads & the Crone Goddess. She is associated with the darkness within all of us, and without...ghosts, the dark of the moon, curses & black magic. I have such a connection and interest in all of this. I have decorated my altar with objects to honor her...saffron, owl figurines, pumpkins seeds, mugwort, myrrh, black & red candles, black tourmaline & moonstone crystals and a statue of her. .
Since connecting with her deeper with this past year, I’ve finally begun working on a longtime dream of mine, to write a horror novel, which I feel is being fueled by the ancient goddess herself, I can feel her pushing me along with each page I write. ☠️🖤⚡️
