Today is #internationalchestday so this is this week’s chest workout. Two Supersets between Compound Movement and Isolation Movement to promote Myofibrillar Hypertrophy #brosciencetheory . KEYPOINTS TO TAKE:- . ✅ Exercises are put in sequence to promote hypertrophy ✅ To target all 3 areas of the pectoralis muscle ✅ To contract and generate tension . Not a natural squatter but want big glutes? Get stuck into the Lunges then! Reposted from head coach @the_recomp_pro Squats can be an incredible exercise but for some, they just feel like absolute garbage. The biomechanics of some people just do not allow them to benefit from squats like some others and as a coach it is my responsibility to be smarter in my exercise selection for clients to allow them the best muscle development. Glute development is a primary goal for majority of my female athletes and if squats fail to be a suitable exercise for an individual, the lunge is my go-to for bigger glutes. The key to the best muscle growth and development is to not be held hostage to beliefs that certain exercises are king. Personally, I suck at squats.
