FOLLOW @trannsformm ——— . It is important to stick to the program with extreme patience and avoid slipping into your ego. Of course we will always be in a back and forth swing with our ego in life but remind yourself you are in it for the long haul. You don’t need to lift thousands of pounds in the first 3-4 months of training, not even in the first year. . Make sure your form is always a priority, put tension on your muscles and not your joints. . Track your lifts everyday, and remember volume beats intensity. You are better off working at a lower intensity with higher volume. . Training should make you feel better, and not the other way around. Being sore is okay in the beginning of a new training program but eventually that should go away and not be an indicator of a great workout. . With lower body movements make sure glutes at working well, and your lower back should not be the common place for soreness. . Last round, 100lbs for 2! Only 5lbs off of my 2 rep max, so with this shoulder, I’ll take it! Late night thoughts from yours truly... . . I hesitated to post these videos for so many reasons. One being I am so embarrassed of my snatch... but why? I was introduced to this movement about 3 months ago and tried it from the ground maybe a month ago. Yet I still find myself defeated and unhappy with what my results... I always tell others “be patient, results do not happen overnight”. Why can I not take my own advice? And why are we so hard on ourselves? . . If you are like me, you are a perfectionist and want to succeed in everything you do. You do not to be bad at anything. Obviously there are things way out of our control.. but the things that I can control, I want to be the best I can be at it. But I have to remind myself that weightlifting is not an easy sport. It cannot be done by anyone at anytime. It takes time, dedication, and more. Snatches, though I hate them at times, have thought me so much. They have thought me that it is okay to have weaknesses.. that is okay to not be perfect 24/7. As long as you are showing up and doing your part.. the rest will happen naturally. It is why I always strive to push myself and leave the rest at the door. Training for me is much more than a physical thing, it is a mental thing too. I hope my message is getting across and is not just a big mess.. hopefully someone out there can relate🏋🏼‍♀️ . . -Snatch pull that almost looks like a snatch deadlift idk you tell me -Snatches.. I like to do the pulls first because they’re heavy and make the weight on my snatches feel like a feather.
