Meet the Team – Luke has been part of the McIvor Farm Family for nearly 18 months and he takes amazing care of our pigs. This is a sow that is always a little shy to drink from the water trough – so Luke really does care and loves what we do. He visits her a couple times a day and gives her a special drink by hand. That really displays what we do here at McIvor Farm - that extra care & attention. Thanks Luke – we are lucky to have you part of our team and your dedication day-in, day-out, working in all weather conditions is appreciated by us and our customers.
I really should be relaxing. Instead I'm applying my new favorite stain color to our newest decor projects. 🔨 After what seems like ages we had the time to cut boards and assemble a dew projects ive been wanting to tackle. I couldn't wait to put stain on them so we can start using them. 🔨 Hubby hates when wood gets painted. Me, I'm all about what's going to be easy and hold up to the crazibess of two little. 🔨 Which do you prefer...paint or stain? . . #latenightprojects #minwaxstain #justoneofmymanyprojects
Snapped this walking to Fjaorargljufur in Iceland. Looks to be a lovely little tree farm🤗😍 The name on the sign is the same name as Erik the Red’s estate in Eastern Settlement Viking colony he established in southwestern Greenland. Soo I’m sure there is a story there!🤔
Don’t let this fluffy ball of feathers fool you. He is stubborn and remains a part of the flock, despite his record of murdering the hens and our rooster. Every morning, he is the first sound we hear as we head out for work.
Well it finally happened and we couldn’t be more excited about it! ❄️ We got our first blanket of snow so naturally we caught snowflakes, played all the Christmas music, and put up the tree! It was a good weekend and I hope yours was too❤️
There was a wolf spotted on the property a couple of days ago... and just the other night I was abruptly woken from my sleep at 4 in the morning to the sound of Bobbi madly barking into the darkness of the forest. I haven’t quite had the courage to scout for tracks, as I am not sure if I want to be a voluntary victim 😬. But I am pretty sure she was barking at that wolf just in these bushes! Yikes! Mountain living at its finest 😁😱
Jo. Det är fint med lediga söndagar. ✨ #livetpålandet #minlandsbygd #helalandetlever #visomharhöns
