Her coach told her she could only eat 1,200 calories a day to lose weight... She was exhausted, felt defeated, and was ready to give up.
I'm seeing more and more coaches and coaching programs putting women on 1,000-1,200 calorie diet, prescribing hours of cardio, and strength training programs lasting hours a day.
They give you no oversight, check-ins, encouragement, or guidance.
This makes me so angry 😡! As soon as I started working with her I bumped her cardio way down, deceased her weight training frequency and duration, and increased her calories by 500 per day.
If you want to ruin your metabolism and make weight loss more difficult this is the formula for that.
Programs like this will:
❌ slow down your metabolism
❌ have you craving foods all day long and going to bed hungry
❌Create hormonal imbalances from overtraining
❌ contribute to why you gain all the weight back
❌ create an unhealthy relationship with your food and disordered eating
❌Force you to miss out on life because you'll never learn how to eat for your lifestyle
Break free from silly coaching programs that will only set you up for failure long-term. .
Fire your coaches that are giving you unrealistic advice as well. 👋👋👋
Advice and programs like this will only set you back more and make it even harder for you to ever get to your goals.
