To be the best strength coach I could be, I had to adopt many different disciplines like it’s MMA. Kettlebells, bodyweight training, Olympic Weightlifting, and sports performance training. There are idiosyncrasies for all of these disciplines, and the only way to be successful is to totally immerse yourself in training these areas. 🤙🏼.
I’ve helped athletes prep for the NFL, worked alongside Olympic medalists for soccer sports training, taught all the kettlebell lifts to precision, and have made some groundwork/flow masters (at Google!). And guess what? I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. There’s so much to learn. (This FRC thing has been super fascinating for me)
