With some changeable weather conditions in February earlier this year, all the snow disappeared and I managed to climb up Liathach for sunrise.
I felt like I needed a big challenge, and watching the sunrise from one of Torridon's towering Munros was the plan. The sunrise was due at 7.30am, and I gave myself two hours to get to reach the summit. This meant that a head torch and a 5.30am start.
After watching the sunrise, I completed the rest of the ridge. Liathach is not for the faint hearted, with some of the most challenging and exposed scrambling in the U.K.
I hope you enjoy the video from the day!
