🥛REBIRTH OF SLICK🍫
When I found out that @KerryGoldIrishCream uses REAL chocolate and REAL milk from grass fed cows, I fell in love immediately; you can taste the difference the moment it touches your lips. I dare you to go out there and try to find another Irish cream liqueur that is as rich and as tasty as Kerrygold.
So, naturally I gravitated to the agave fields when it came down to making a cocktail. The “Rebirth of Slick” is my interpretation of a abuelita hot chocolate that’s served up and cold. Just like the song, this cocktail is one those where you just sit back and groove to the beat of smoke, chocolate, and pepper. But don’t be misguided by the chill vibe as this is one of those cocktails that will creep up on you.
Starting with Kerrygold as our base, you are going to want to add an ounce and a half to your tin so you can taste the creamy goodness that is Kerrygold! Next, we follow that up with three quarters of Mezcal and Ancho Reyes Chili liqueur. This is the perfect amount of smoke and pepper this cocktail needs. Then we are going to add a half ounce of Reposado Tequila and Creme de Cacao to compliment both the mezcal and chocolate in the Kerrygold. Lastly we are going to add a dash of coffee flake saline to round out the chocolate. Feel free to use 2 drops of 20% saline solution if you can’t find the coffee flake salt. Enjoy!

1.5 oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur
.75 oz Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
.75 oz Ancho Chili Reyes
.5 oz Reposado tequila
.5 oz Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao
1 dash coffee flake saline
