Every morning, Oprah Winfrey challenges me on this - knowing who you are. A question that we must all ask ourselves: “Who am I?” And “What do you want?”. And she does not mean just your superficial titles and goals in life that helps you leave a mark or create a legacy but the deeper question of who you really are and your purpose - that helps you to live the Highest and Truest expression of your yourself as a human being. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You must have some sort of a vision even if you don’t know where you are going. This helps you to drive through life with the help of The Source (in my case, God) whatever that means for you. If not, life will drive you and take you to places and people that will not help you fulfil your truest expression of who you are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You ARE NOT just what your circumstances say of you. Whether you are broke, addicted, lonely, in pain, or whatever else. You are more than your circumstances and the people around you. You only need to look within you to find who or what that is. I happen to uncover more of who I am through my faith - Christianity. I realised how blessed, favoured and victorious I can be in God and all of His promises because it has been given unto me already. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So today I’m slaying it like a victor, not a victim. I’m walking out fierce and ready for whatever life throws my way. I’m more than my circumstances and the people around me. And I implore you to find that Source from within you and rise up to who you really are inside of you and fulfil that expression within the time and space that has been given unto you so graciously throughout your life outside of what is happening to you.
