Today I am STRUGGLING. . The truth is I often feel very conflicted between being the person I WANT to be & being the person I’ve always been. . In the past, I have self-identified as anxious, introverted, shy, lazy, messy, unorganized, not good enough and the list could go on. . At the same time, I know I am compassionate, kind, loving, outgoing & social, hard working, a good mom, & doing the best I can. . But sometimes, it all gets the best of me. The self doubt takes over. I feel overwhelmed & STUCK. . I don’t have any revolutionary message here about how to get past this feeling, but these 3 things have helped me: . 1️⃣BREATHE. Pause, focus on your breath, and tune into your body. Be present to the fact that you are alive & capable of doing amazing things in this lifetime. . 2️⃣FEEL the feelings. The only way to truly move past them is to feel them. Try not to numb them, but accept them and know that tomorrow is a new day. . 3️⃣GRATITUDE. Even when it’s hard, and nothing seems to be going right there are always things to be grateful for. Like this awesome picture of my happy, healthy kids & I having one of the most fun, memorable nights together.💗 . So friend, if you’re struggling today, know that you are not alone.
