Giveaway is now closed. Fall is in the air,🎃 and for some of us, that means it's baking season! Cool crisp days replace the heat of summer, and all of a sudden, we don't mind turning on the oven and heating up the house. Soups and stews 🥣take the place of salads🥗 and sandwiches and classic desserts like Apple and Pumpkin pies🥧 are taking over dessert menus everywhere. As much as we all love the classics, but sometimes it's fun to try something a little different. 🍡 A group of us at @FWIConnections collaborated to share with you some of our favorite classic recipes, but with a twist! Each of us has taken a favorite classic recipe and either come up with or found a fun twist on the classic to share with you. 🍅🍓🍒🍇🍎🥥🌶🥝🥑🍄🍆🍑 🍽Go to @FWIConnections and follow all that the page is following. 🍽 Find the giveaway pic on @FWIConnections 🍽 Stop by each account listed and see what they cooked up for you in the challenge 🍽 Like and comment on each account letting us know what is your favorite comfort food. Preserving food is a part of life for most of us that live in the country, but I feel guilty about all the waste from the skins, so I started freezing the skins in a gallon ziplock bag. As soon as the bag is full you are ready to make tomato sauce. I use all my mismatched jars for this sauce so I have all kinds of sizes. Makes it easier to grab exactly the amount I need for soups, sauces, casseroles, meatloaves, glazes, etc. The process is so simple, its in comments below! 🍅🍅🍅 I hope you enjoy!
