I just had a conversation with a lovely girl at my work who noticed I've lost weight. She was asking me why she was going to the gym twice a day and not loosing weight herself. Cue long discussion about what she's eating. I wish you could just out-run what goes in your mouth. I wish it worked like that. But the truth is that weight loss is at least 80% what you eat and only 20% how you move. Going to the gym twice daily is probably stressing her body out and making it even harder to loose the weight- i.e. NOT HELPING. If you want to loose weight, you have to account for everything you eat. Any other mommies catch themselves eating the leftovers on the plate they gave their kids? 🙋🏼‍♀️ It adds up! Be honest about what you eat, pull out the junk, eat food God made, and you will see tremendous progress without a crazy fitness schedule.

Fresh vegetable stew. We were given fresh carrots and fresh potatoes this weekend and I think we put them to good use! Sauté half a white onion with three cloves of garlic. Transfer to an Instant Pot. Add green beans, 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth, 2 cups water, and 1.5 cups wild rice. Sprinkle with fresh basil, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, parsley, and ginger. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes. Since I've been traveling so much for wedding planning, I've fallen off my Arbonne routine. Cooking instructions: 1)Add the oats to your blender and blend until it looks like a fine flour. Add the milk, egg, baking powder, protein powder and cinnamon to the blender too and blend everything into a pancake batter. 2)Lightly oiled frying pan and place over a medium high heat. Pour the pancake mixture into the pan, using about ¼ of the total mixture for each protein pancake. 3)Tilt the pan in a circular motion to coat the surface evenly with pancake batter. 4)Cook the pancake for about 45-60 seconds until the bottom is a light brown colour. Loosen with a flexible spatula, flip over and cook the other side.
