If you are generating more heat than you are losing you will overheat. When it's hot, if you can't exercise in air-conditioning, ensue that you exercise in the cooler parts of the day. Also make sure that you remain hydrated. Never underestimate the difficulty of bodyweight movements. . Compared with loaded, or weighted, exercises, bodyweight exercises are much easier on your joints. There's a very common misconception that in order to meditate, one must clear their mind of all thought. Some think that this is the "goal" of meditation, and this could not be further from the truth. . Many reading this post would have attempted the art of meditation and given up after not being able to completely clear their minds and stop themselves from thinking. This misses the point of the exercise, as it is actually impossible to COMPLETELY clear the mind of all thought. Why would we even want to do this? We are thinking beings, and this is a fact that we cannot change or transcend. . The purpose of meditation is to enter a state of being able to observe thoughts and their associated emotions, and to listen to how these emotions are manifesting in the body. In this process of observation, the thoughts and emotions are able to pass in natural time and serve their intended purpose. . In our normal, non meditative states, we tend to attach ourselves to particular thoughts and emotions. Doing this for too long is where particular thoughts and emotions can start to become destructive - we become obsessive, guilt-ridden and ashamed of particular thought patterns and feelings. It's a simple matter of these thoughts and emotions staying longer than they need to. . Meditation is to train the mind to not attach to thoughts through this process of careful observation. It's the process of getting truly quiet with the mind and the body and LISTENING to what is happening, not trying to STOP what is happening. It is a process that needs to be entered with a genuine openness. Guilt over particular thoughts and emotions will only see them stay around longer. . Meditate with an open mind and an EMPATHY for yourself and the kind of being that you are. You are a thinking, feeling being, and every thought and feeling you have has an important purpose to serve 🙏🏼
