Looking back on the past decade and seeing everyone’s transitions I realized that 10 years ago was the time that I started turning my health around as well!
LEFT- a rollercoaster schedule of deprivation and binging. When I was “on” my diet consisted of processed low carb, low fat, and artificially sweetened everything. When I was “bad” it meant consuming as many calories as possible in one day and then starving myself the next. I worked out 7 days a week sometimes two times a day to “make up” for being “bad” which obviously didn’t negate the calories I was consuming... that went on and on for the good part of my 20s.
RIGHT- a balanced lifestyle of majority whole REAL foods, zero fake anything, mindful eating and conscious indulgences, portion control, balanced workout schedule with rest days.
Unfortunately the journey to a healthy balanced lifestyle is not easy, not even close. I worked on myself for years to get into the headspace that I’m in now and I still have my days, trust me, where the negative thoughts enter in. You have to WANT IT, and you have to BELIEVE YOU DESERVE IT, and then you TAKE ACTION. The one thing we have control over on the day to day is the food we put in our mouths. Leave the excuses at the door, take advantage of that control and MAKE A CHANGE. #accountabilitycoach #rachaelschwartznutrition #makeachange
