“It’s time to take out the big balloons” 🎈 . . It’s been 10 whole weeks since I injured my foot and was diagnosed with a stress fracture but it’s time to celebrate like it’s my birthday because after many up’s and down’s I received the all clear from my doctor to resume teaching H⚡️GH! . . I can’t emphasize enough to all of my fellow fit friends how important stretching and rest are! I know that I was overworking myself and not taking the time to properly stretch and foam roll post working out and I truly believe that all added to my injury. Also make sure you have proper shoes and insoles if you have fallen in love with a high impact way of exercising like H⚡️GH. . . It is true what they say, health is not valued until sickness comes. I am so grateful my body has been given the time to heal and my mind stayed relatively sane! 🤣 (maybe ask my hubby if that second part is true 🥴). Words can not describe how excited I am to get back to class. I have missed you all so dang much 😭💕 #ilovehighfitness #mypeople

Working on a “Coach Michelle” collage for work, and just couldn’t not share this gem 😍 • I remember I used to dress up in my moms clothes, and run around thinking I was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Since then, I’ve only continued to copy everything she does 😂 that little girl inside of me never gave up wanting to be just like my mama. • Fast forward to today, and I’m a fitness instructor, just like her. I’m inspiring people, just like her. I’m motivating people, just like her. And I’m pushing myself, just like her. • It’s important to have someone in your life you look up to. But I also think it’s extremely important to have a strong relationship with your mom. So many people don’t have that, and it breaks my heart. I would be completely and utterly lost without her. Who would I text randomly throughout the day? Who would I ask all those tmi questions? Who would I get wine drunk and watch videos of puppies with? Who the hell knows. • All I know is, I wouldn’t be who I am today without her. She has given me strength and courage. She has never failed to push me towards pursuing my dreams, no matter how crazy. And she has never once stopped supporting me. So thank you, mama, for giving that little girl someone so amazing to look up to 💕
